Step 1:
When logging in to your account, you will put in your Username and Password.
Once logged in you will note the security alert as shown below.
Click on ‘Click here to secure your account’ link.
Step 2:
Click on Activate 2 Factor Authentication button, as shown below.
Step 3:
An Enable 2 Factor Authentication screen will pop up.
On this screen, please note the recovery codes on the left. Please copy and keep them in a safe place where you can access them in case you are locked out of your account. AssetPool support will not be able to help you with this recovery codes.
Using the Google Authenticator app, scan the QR code on the left, note the 6 digit code which is generated on the app, insert it in the code field as shown below. Click on Activate 2FA button.
A confirmation message will show that the 2FA has been activated.
Log out from your account.
Step 4:
Login again using your Username and Password.
You will now be presented with a new Two factor verification screen.
Open Google authenticator on your mobile device and note the 6-digit code which is displayed.
Insert the code on the above screen and click on Verify Code button.
You will now be logged in.
