How to Add a Dynamic Status for an Asset Type?

Pre-requisites:

1. Manage Asset Type permission is required.
2. Manage Dynamic Status permission is required.

Step 1:

 Click on the Asset Types navigation bar item, found on the left beneath the Job Types navigation bar item.

This will take you to the below screen.

You can also search for an Asset Type that needs to be edited by using the search function, as shown below.

Step 2:

Click on the Asset Type and you will be taken to the Overview screen, which shows asset summary information as shown in the below screen.

Click on the Dynamic Statuses menu item to add dynamic statuses.

 Step 3:

Create a new dynamic status by clicking on Add New Status button as shown below.

Fill in the Status Name, Status Description, as shown below.

Add the Status Option and then click on the plus sign to enter a second status if needed.

Add Status options as required.

 When done adding status options, click on the Save button.

Once added, the Status will be listed as shown below.

More Statuses can be added if desired.
